Gobustan (former name: Meraza ) is a city in Gobustan city administrative territorial district of Gobustan district of the Republic of Azerbaijan . [ 1 ] By the Resolution No. 592-IIIQ of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 25, 2008, the Meraza settlement within the Maraza settlement administrative territorial circle of the Gobustan district was named Gobustan settlement, and the Maraza settlement administrative territorial circle was considered the Gobustan settlement administrative territorial circle. Narimankend village within Narimankend village administrative territorial circle was merged with Gobustan settlement, Narimankend village and Narimankend village administrative territorial circle were removed from the State register of territorial units of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Gobustan settlement within Gobustan settlement administrative territorial circle was given city status, Gobustan settlement administrative territorial circle was considered Gobustan city administrative territorial circle
